As President of CKRDT, Lalita Nijhawan was presented the Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for her perpetual and significant contribution to the society. The 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 was held online from 14th - 16th September, 2021 on Zoom where Lalita ji was presented the award by the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry and Asian Academy of Arts. In her words, - “It was an honour to be selected to receive this award, and I felt an outpouring of gratitude, especially receiving an award named after one of the greatest women leaders guiding Free India with the Voice of a Nightingale - Dr. Sarojini Naidu.
